Kyoshi Douglas Fay was born and raised in Vermont
but relocated to Sarasota, Florida as a young man. There he met and studied under James R. Horne for twenty-one years.
He has achieved the level of sixth degree black belt in the Sangaku Bujutsu Renmei system. He was appointed Soke Dai of the Sangaku Bjutsu
organization in 1996. Kyoshi Fay is currently living in Mena, Arkansas with his wife Karen. They own the Ouachita School of Martial Arts.
